I joined BuildaBridge after my experience at Shalom Village orphanage in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, where I coordinated an arts- education program and taught English to children between the ages of 3-11. Now, as the BuildaBridge Haiti Arts Relief and Development program coordinator, I am able to serve more children throughout Haiti by building alliances with various schools and institutional homes services children. I’m originally from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, I grew up in Miami, Florida and received my Ba in Multi-Media Communications from Florida Atlantic University. I am now currently enrolled in the MA in Urban Studies with a concentration in Arts and Transformation at Eastern University. I love to write and make my writing come to life in various forms. I enjoy working with children. My goal is to assist BuildaBridge to establish an arts-based approached to child welfare and have it become the standard for organizations serving children in institutional homes throughout Haiti.
