Artists on Call is a global network connecting artists and organizations from anywhere to everywhere, meeting the needs of disenfranchised communities around the world

Requirements for participating members:

1. Experience in working with vulnerable children.  Inexperienced AOC members will be paired with an experienced AOC member on most trips.
2. Ability to deal with difficult environments–resourceful, flexible, and with basic survival skills
3. Creativity in working with a scarcity of artistic resources
4. Training in therapeutic art modalities, community development, and crisis management
5. Ability to raise funds and pay own expenses as a volunteer
6. Second language skills, while not required, are a plus.  Same for cross-cultural experience.
7. Be ready to leave on one-month notice (or earlier)
8. If working with children, completed child abuse clearance, criminal back-ground check and FBI clearance
